Online Therapy?
Online counseling isn’t for everyone, but has proven to be an effective treatment option for many people. Individuals seeking treatment who find themselves in extreme circumstances could be better suited to an office setting.
It’s not uncommon for a person seeking treatment to feel anxiety about traditional in person therapy options. On-line counseling provides an alternative for those who feel embarrassed or uncomfortable making an office appointment with a therapist.
Those who live in remote areas often find it difficult to travel to a therapist’s office on a regular basis. On-line counseling eliminates those barriers.
Individuals with tight schedules, physical challenges or conflicting relationships can benefit from the flexibility of online counseling.
Home Visits
Our Agency contracts with Home Health Agencies in the area, thus we go and perform MSW evaluations for their clients in their homes. We also do home visits if indicted by the client’s managed care.
